The Vice President of GTM Transformation is a senior leader responsible for orchestrating the rhythm of the business for the Chief Revenue Office (CRO), driving cross-functional GTM transformation, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic transformation initiatives across the revenue organization. Reporting to the EVP of Business and GTM Operations, this role serves as the connective tissue across Special Initiatives, Sales Plays, Annual Planning, and Segmentation, ensuring alignment, accountability, and acceleration of business outcomes.
This leader partners closely with CRO leadership and peers to drive enterprise-wide impact through disciplined program management, strategic foresight, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Rhythm of the Business
Architect and lead the 'rhythm of the business' for the CRO, ensuring consistent operating cadences, executive reviews, and decision-making forums that drive alignment and execution across GTM ecosystem.
Serve as the central integrator of special initiatives, providing executive visibility, governance, and delivery assurance across high-impact programs.
Act as the steel thread for Sales Plays activation, ensuring cross-functional readiness, execution discipline, and performance tracking across regions and segments.
Lead scenario planning and strategic risk assessments to guide CRO decision-making.
GTM Transformation Leadership
Design and operationalize a portfolio of GTM transformation initiatives aligned to enterprise strategy, customer lifecycle
maturity, and CRO priorities.
Translate strategic objectives into executable programs that drive measurable value, agility, and growth.
Ensure traceability between CRO OKRs, enterprise programs, and transformation outcomes. Governance & Performance Management
Program Design & Governance
Establish and evolve governance frameworks, program structures, and execution standards that balance speed with control.
Lead a high-performing team of program leaders responsible for orchestrating transformation across Sales, Marketing, GCCX, and GTM Operations.
Drive program excellence through best practices in activation, stakeholder engagement, and risk mitigation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CRO and GTM Leadership Team, contributing to the narrative for executive and/or board-level discussions.
Translate complex program outcomes into compelling insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
Collaborate with colleagues to drive integrated annual planning, segmentation, and execution.
Align upstream and downstream dependencies across systems, processes, and customer journeys.
Facilitate enterprise-wide visibility through structured communications, operating reviews, and feedback loops.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
Oversee performance monitoring & reporting for GTM programs, tracking milestones, risks, mitigations & benefits realization.
Leverage analytics and insights to inform decisions, optimize execution, and enhance transformation impact.
Continuously improve transformation playbooks, tools, and cadences based on stakeholder feedback & external benchmarks.
Define and track KPIs that measure the business impact of strategic programs, including revenue acceleration, cost efficiency, and customer experience improvements.
Partner with Finance and BizOps to ensure alignment between program investments and enterprise value creation.
Leadership & Capability Development
Build and nurture a culture of program excellence, adaptability, and accountability.
Coach and develop team members to strengthen business acumen, change leadership, and executional discipline.
Drive workforce planning and location-based strategies to optimize talent and delivery agility.
Culture & Values

Leadership Characteristics of the Role
Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business-related discipline or equivalent
Substantial experience in program / portfolio management leadership, with the ability to oversee, and help lead when required, multiple transformational programs simultaneously and deliver high-quality results and business value realization
Extensive / Minimum of 15 years of experience in marketing, sales, or customer success, with solid / 5+ years of experience in leading transformational initiatives
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive successful outcomes through effective collaboration and leadership
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex strategic initiatives, including change management and stakeholder engagement.
Preferable to have a professional qualification in Program Management
Skills and Attributes:
Ability to think strategically and create a roadmap for CROs go-to-market strategy transformation initiatives
Experience leading transformational change and be able to effectively communicate the vision and goals of the GTM transformation to stakeholders
Adept at data analysis, including market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis to inform the transformation initiatives
Able to lead a team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive change and achieve business objectives
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate regularly with senior executives, stakeholders, and employees across the organization
Able to identify and solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
Passion for innovation and the ability to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement in the go-to-market strategy.
Customer-centric mindset and be able to understand their needs and pain points
Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving business objectives and driving revenue growth through the transformation of the go-to-market strategy.
