About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Talent Advisor (Senior Recruiter) for technology hiring across APAC within our Integrated Talent Solutions team. This role operates as a trusted advisor to the business, shaping workforce capability through a Build–Borrow–Buy–Place model.
You will combine deep technology talent expertise, market intelligence, and innovative sourcing approaches to deliver hiring outcomes that balance speed, quality, and long-term capability, while leveraging AI and data tools to enhance decision-making and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Advisory (Technology Focus)
Lead intake and hiring strategy discussions, advising on build vs buy vs borrow decisions for technical roles
Provide market intelligence on technology talent (engineering, cloud, data, security) including supply, demand, and compensation trends
Influence hiring strategies for complex, hard-to-fill, and emerging tech roles
Partner with business leaders to align hiring with engineering, product, and innovation priorities
Use data insights and talent intelligence tools to guide hiring decisions and workforce planning
Operate independently across multiple stakeholder groups, driving alignment and decisions through effective cross-functional collaboration with business leaders, People Team, Compensation, Finance, and other partners.
Facilitate and navigate complex hiring discussions, balancing business priorities, market realities, and talent availability while exercising sound judgment on when to escalate risks, challenges, or decision points.
Talent Strategy & Proactive Sourcing
Design and deliver innovative sourcing strategies across multiple channels and markets
Build and maintain diverse, high-quality pipelines for critical tech roles by leveraging various platforms such as GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche tech communities
Utilize AI-enabled sourcing and talent tools to improve pipeline quality, speed, and reach
Map competitor talent and identify passive candidate pools across APAC
Activate internal mobility, referrals, and strategic pipelines
Candidate & Hiring Manager Experience
Lead end-to-end hiring with a high-touch, experience-led approach
Prepare and coach hiring teams on structured technical interviews and assessment quality
Deliver a consistent, transparent, and engaging candidate experience
Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, ensuring alignment and preparedness
Reinforce employer brand within technology talent communities
Operational Excellence & Innovation
Drive hiring delivery with focus on efficiency, quality, and consistency
Manage requisitions with rigor using Workday ATS and strong data discipline
Use analytics to identify pipeline health, bottlenecks, and hiring trends
Lead offer strategy and negotiations aligned to market benchmarks
Champion adoption of innovative tools and AI solutions to enhance recruiter effectiveness and hiring outcomes
Qualifications
8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with strong focus on technology hiring
Proven track record hiring for engineering, product, cloud, data, or infrastructure roles
Strong proactive sourcing and talent mapping capability
Experience in high-tech or innovation-driven environments preferred
Ability to influence through data, insights, and advisory presence
Experience working across APAC markets
Familiarity with AI-enabled recruiting tools and talent intelligence platforms
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a highly matrixed, cross-functional environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Strong judgment and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations, influence outcomes, and appropriately escalate issues when required.
