Job Summary
The Software Development Eng Sr. Associate is a developing professional responsible for working on moderate software development engineering systems issues. Is an individual contributor level that does not lead other employees or teams.
Responsibilities
Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
Technical
Consistently produces maintainable, high quality professional software code independently
Effective in code reviews and system design features; may need guidance on system level design
Technical for SDET/QA
Independently owns and delivers on quality goals for features
Grasps data flows across the system under testing for quality assurance
Contributes to the designing of test cases and test data based on requirements
Contributes to the testing framework development, where applicable
Dealing with Ambiguity
Works independently from product requirements
Process
Spots opportunities to improve the team's operational excellence and implements them
Demonstrates the ability to estimate and deliver tasks in a timely fashion providing progress updates
Scope and Impact
Owns one or more features
Leadership
Has a curiosity to learn; dives deep into the root cause of issues
Understands customer use cases and communicates clear resolutions
Collaborates with team members; may mentor junior engineers
Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
