Role Overview:

The Global Operations Academy Communications Intern will support the development and execution of internal communication strategies for the Global Operations organization. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to gain experience in corporate communications, content creation, and stakeholder engagement within the technology and digital infrastructure industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Assist in drafting, editing, and publishing content for internal communications ; e.g. newsletters, emails, websites

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support communication efforts to ensure alignment with Equinix’s brand and messaging.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing communication projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality.

  • Analytics: Monitor and report on the performance of communication campaigns using analytics tools to measure engagement and impact.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Available to work full time for the internship duration following East Coast time zone work hours.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management concepts. 

  • Analytically driven and detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior internship or project experience in communications is a plus.
