Overview of function, team, and role:
xScale Treasury Operations focuses on liquidity management, external financing, and treasury process improvement for the global xScale business, which partners with investors in joint ventures to extend cloud leadership and meet the skyrocketing demand for data centers designed for AI training and other compute-intensive tasks.
This position supports the xScale Treasury Operations team in the Americas region and requires close partnership with the Global Treasury and Finance team, xScale Management team, and Lending Banks.
Responsibilities:
Meet the liquidity needs of AMER xScale portfolio through cash flow forecasting, debt draws, and investing of excess cash balances
Prepare documentation for the capital call process for each xScale structure in the region
Produce periodic and ad-hoc Treasury reporting for xScale investors and internal Equinix team
Identify opportunities to streamline treasury workflows by leveraging emerging technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Support quarterly Treasury SOX testing and external audits
Who You Are (Requirements and Qualifications):
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between December 2026 – December 2027)
Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (May 4th – Aug 21st, 2026)
Analytically driven and detail oriented, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, index/match functions, functions, and basic macros
Demonstrates strong time management skills by effectively prioritizing tasks, communicating progress to stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, business proficiency in English
Proactive in identifying areas of inefficiency and suggesting opportunities for process improvements, automation, etc
A strong desire to learn and engage in new responsibilities and unfamiliar tasks
