Job Summary
Step into the world of mission-critical infrastructure as a Data Center Technician Apprentice at Equinix, where you’ll be part of a global leader in digital infrastructure.
This role is in partnership with ITE's Work-Study Diploma Program and part of Equinix’s structured training program, which blends classroom-based learning with on-the-job training to ensure a well-rounded and immersive development experience. You’ll be paired with experienced buddies and mentors who will guide you through your learning journey and help you build confidence in a real-world data center environment.
As an apprentice, you will gain foundational knowledge and hands-on experience across key areas of data center operations, including:
Power and cooling systems
Hardware installation and maintenance
Cabling and connectivity
Environmental monitoring and safety protocols
Remote Hands Support
Incident response and operational workflows
Requirements
Requires a Nitec/Higher Nitec certificate and prior registration with ITE for the Work-Study Diploma Programme
