Job Summary: As the IT Transformation and Strategy AI and Automation Engineer you will assist thousands of members interacting with company services each day. You will utilize software applications that use artificial intelligence and machine learning to communicate with humans via text/voice and to build low code no code automations. The right individual will have a strong blend of enterprise technology knowledge, well developed communication and collaboration skills and an aptitude for data, language, and technology. You will leverage data and key insights to optimize interactions and build out new flows to deploy in multiple business units throughout the enterprise. To be successful in this role, you will need to have great analytical skills, attention to detail and an ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Connect and integrate through API’s, SDK or botkits to develop workflows for business units
Design, develop, implement, and test chatbot applications using machine learning algorithms.
Use Artificial Intelligence, NLP technologies and cognitive machine learning to develop automations
Integrate chatbot solutions with multiple platforms
Troubleshoot bots, debug, and deploy chatbots on various channels
Involved in all the states of chatbot development from architecting to implementing
Work with stakeholders and infrastructure teams to deliver transformational solutions leveraging in-house or 3rd party automation tools
Conduct automation demos/training and other activities as needed
Design and implement processes and strategies to enhance the end-user experience
Recognize pertinent language patters and conversational content that can lead to business value through product or operational improvements
Review, calibrate and validate the quality of data to verify analysis requirements in broadcasting the overall health of interactions across multiple business units.
Brainstorm value-added features and applications to further use our technology platform.
Determine keywords and phrases to train our software to recognize to create successful member interactions
Provide administrative credentials and permissions to business units according to RACI matrix.
Partner with current in-house and 3rd party AI and Automation vendors to clean-up, maintain and enhance the current infrastructure automation services
Stay up to date on new chatbot technologies, industry best practices, certifications, and capabilities to remain at the forefront of innovation.
Produce required status reports and updates to leadership teams on a timely basis
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in IT industry
Knowledge of languages such as Python, Java, PHP, SQL, and AI Languages
Understanding of Large Language Models and how they work
Demonstrated strong analytical skills, adept at identifying patterns and hypothesis-driven problem solving.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills related to cross functional groups of key business stakeholders
Must have an "Automate Everything" attitude
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or quantitative oriented fields.
Innovative mindset, aptitude for learning new technologies/software and dexterity to adjust to changing priorities within a dynamic business.
Experience in large and complex automation engagements
Intermediate knowledge of identity management and access control systems (LDAP, Kerberos, AD, etc.)
Broad experience in enterprise computing environments required
Strong knowledge IP communication and routing is required
Foundational knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Fundamental understanding of enterprise security practices is a plus
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
Familiarity with agile development processes and DevOps approaches
Working knowledge of frontend technologies- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and REST API’s
Experience in conversational AI
