What You'll Be Doing

• Tools for Networks and Firewalls
  Utilize network tools to enhance daily operations, streamline team workflows through reporting, automate tasks, visualize the network environment, facilitate rapid problem identification, generate capacity plans, and monitor End-of-Life (EOL) or End-of-Sale (EOS) statuses for both internal and customer environments.

• Network Design and Implementation:   Design and implement network systems, including Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN). This includes installing network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers, ensuring that the network infrastructure meets the organization's business requirements.

• Network Troubleshooting
  Identify and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, slow response times, and network errors. Efficiently utilize diagnostic tools and protocols to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Network Security
  Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), intrusion detection systems, and access control policies to safeguard the network against unauthorized access and potential threats.

• Network Optimization
  Analyze network performance and identify areas for improvement, focusing on optimizing configurations, managing traffic, and load balancing to enhance overall network performance and ensure continuous connectivity.

• Technical Support
  Provide prompt and effective technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving network-related issues to minimize downtime.

• Project Management
  Oversee network projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and according to objectives. Coordinate with vendors, stakeholders, and team members to ensure successful project delivery.

• Documentation and Reporting
  Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Generate reports on network performance, security audits, and incident responses to facilitate effective monitoring and future planning.

• Other Responsibilities
  Possess comprehensive knowledge of network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, and EIGRP, along with a working understanding of network systems including LANs, firewalls, routers, and printers. The ability to manage multiple projects from design to implementation and communicate technical information effectively to both technical team members and colleagues in other departments is essential. Advanced English proficiency and a relevant academic background are required, along with familiarity with processes and compliance, specifically ITIL v4.

What We'll Expect from You

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.

• Advanced English skills.

• Familiarity with ITIL v4 processes and compliance.

• Proficiency in network tools and technologies, including but not limited to:

  • TCP/IP, OSPF, EIGRP

  • Firewalls and VPN

  • Network diagnostic tools and protocols

  • Load balancers and network monitoring tools

  • Experience with network design and implementation of LAN/WAN systems

What Will Be the Difference If You Have

• Certifications such as ITIL V3/V4 Practitioner, FortiNet certifications, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Network Professional (CNSP), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) will significantly enhance your candidacy and demonstrate your ability to contribute effectively to the role.
