Equinix Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is looking for a highly motivated enthusiastic intern with strong modeling and analytical skills to support the CDIO organization.  The ideal candidate is a high energy, responsive, detail-oriented, eager, and curious self-starter who can work in our fast-paced business cadence and FP&A processes to make impacts right away. 

Responsibilities

  • Supports the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting of CDIO Cost
  • Analyze data to find answers of not only “what”, but also “why” and “so what” to support our key business partners
  • Determines the best source for data, ad hoc reports and analysis, and presents a summary of findings to management
  • Act as a trusted advisor to cross functional business leaders, anticipates needs, makes recommendations based on knowledge of industry, and facilitates decision making
  • Works both independently and with the team to create, modify, and update a suite of company metric reports and dashboards to identify trends and key drivers of the business
  • Ability to create financial models for scenario analysis regarding potential business decisions
  • Support the delivery of high-quality presentations for senior executives and business partners
  • Aptitude to pool data from multiple sources, filter through the data, analyze the results, and consolidate into a brief report with recommended action items
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college, in your penultimate year of your bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between April 2026 – December 2027)  
  • Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (May 4th  – Aug 21st, 2026)
  • Analytically driven and detail oriented with advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, index/match functions, and proficiency using formulas to automate and streamline models
  • Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work well independently and in groups
  • Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills
