Job Summary

The Logistics Specialist plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency by coordinating deliveries, managing shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining accurate records. This position focuses on routine tasks within established procedures and works under close supervision while gaining proficiency in company policies and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

Delivery Coordination & Documentation

  • Coordinate timely and efficient delivery of goods to designated destinations and obtain receipt confirmations

  • Notify recipients upon successful delivery of ordered items

  • Maintain accurate records and logs for all inbound and outbound materials

Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive goods delivered to the Data Center, either directly or after security clearance

  • Record all relevant details for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with order requirements

  • Utilize shipment spotlight and dashboard tools to track customer shipments

  • Inspect received goods and flag any items that do not meet quality standards

Problem Resolution

  • Communicate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time deliveries

  • Assist in resolving basic shipping and receiving issues promptly

Hazardous Materials Handling

  • Support the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials in compliance with regional regulations

  • Follow established protocols under close supervision

Equipment Tracking

  • Monitor and track stored or abandoned equipment

  • Assist with removal or disposal of customer equipment from cages as directed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience

  • Regional hazardous materials certification preferred

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work effectively under supervision

  • Basic problem-solving and communication skills

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - DC2 Washington DC : 40,000 - 60,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
