Overview

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking User Experience Designer to design and scale user-centric experiences for enterprise analytics products, including data-driven portals, dashboards, chat interfaces, and decision-support tools.

This role sits within the Enterprise Insights & Analytics Product Management team and focuses on creating intuitive, scalable, and decision-oriented experiences for a wide range of personas including executives, managers, and analysts to monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and drive strategic decisions.

The designer will work closely with Product Managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate business questions, data insights, and user needs into clear, actionable product experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals with a deep understanding of data visualization, persona-based UX, design systems, and AI-assisted design workflows.

This is not a purely visual design role. We are looking for someone who can bring structure to complexity, design for decision-making, and create scalable patterns across multiple analytics products.

Key Responsibilities

Discovery & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Lead UX discovery sessions with business stakeholders to understand their goals, decisions, workflows, and pain points, translating business context into clear design briefs

  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and workflow mapping to uncover how different personas consume information, make decisions, and take action

  • Define and document user journeys, experience maps, and touchpoint inventories across the analytics product portfolio

  • Identify gaps between current-state experiences and desired outcomes, and advocate for user-centered solutions within product and business planning conversations

Experience Design & Execution

  • Design intuitive analytics portals, dashboards, chat interfaces, and decision-support tools for multiple enterprise personas, from executives to finance, sales, and operational users

  • Translate complex business questions, user needs, and data requirements into clear wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs

  • Apply data visualization, information hierarchy, and usability principles to create experiences that are clear, consistent, and decision-oriented

  • Build reusable design patterns, components, and templates that scale across dashboards, domains, and product experiences

  • Use AI tools to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and iteration

Validation & Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to validate concepts, ensure feasibility, and improve adoption

  • Facilitate design reviews and usability feedback loops, incorporating input from both business stakeholders and end users

  • Communicate design rationale clearly, grounding decisions in user needs and business outcomes

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years of UX/UI or Product Design experience, preferably in enterprise SaaS, analytics, BI, or data-heavy products

  • Proven experience leading discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and user research — not just executing design artifacts

  • Demonstrated ability to design dashboards, analytics portals, BI tools, or complex enterprise applications

  • Strong proficiency in Figma or other modern prototyping workflows

  • Hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Stitch, Figma AI, or similar tools to accelerate design workflows

Ideal Candidate

  • Thinks in terms of business questions, user decisions, workflows, and outcomes, not just screens

  • Can move fluidly between stakeholder discovery and design execution: listening, synthesizing, and translating needs into intuitive interfaces

  • Can simplify complex data environments into intuitive, decision-focused user experiences

  • Understands how to design for different personas, from executives needing high-level signals to sales users needing account-level detail and actionability

  • Has strong instincts for information hierarchy, data density, metric clarity, and progressive disclosure

  • Designs scalable systems and reusable patterns rather than one-off dashboard screens

  • Uses AI tools practically to improve speed, exploration, synthesis, and iteration

  • Communicates design rationale clearly and can influence through user-centered and business-grounded reasoning

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and partnering across product, data, engineering, and business teams
