Job Summary

The Senior Treasury Analyst – Americas supports day-to-day treasury operations and risk management across North and South America, with a focus on cash management, payments, counterparty risk monitoring, and treasury systems. This role partners with the global treasury team and requires hands-on execution, strong systems expertise, and a controls mindset.

Responsibilities

Cash Management & Liquidity

  • Manage day-to-day cash management operations across the Americas, including banking relationships, account structure, bank fee management, and ongoing monitoring of treasury policies and procedures

  • Perform daily cash positioning and recommend funding actions as needed; monitor bank balances and liquidity buffers to support funding needs and policy compliance

  • Drive monthly cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning; determine subsidiary funding gaps and support intercompany funding, intercompany loans, netting, and cross-border cash movements

  • Analyze banking activity and cash movements and provide recommendations to support decision-making

  • Prepare periodic cash, liquidity, and bank activity reporting (e.g., balances, movements, fees) to support treasury decision-making

  • Support SOX controls execution for treasury processes and respond to audit requests, including year-end bank confirmations

  • Maintain bank account administration items including signer updates, e-banking mandates, and user setup; keep the Treasury Management System (TMS) and treasury databases current and complete

Payments, Banking & FX Operations

  • Partner with Accounts Payable and regional finance to resolve payment issues, rejections, and investigations

  • Support FX execution and settlements (spot/short-dated), including confirmations and cash impact tracking (FX experience a plus)

  • Support bank account life cycle activities (open/close) and KYC documentation in coordination with banks and internal stakeholders

Counterparty Risk & Controls

  • Monitor counterparty exposure across banks, investments, and financial institutions in line with treasury and investment policies

  • Prepare counterparty risk reporting, dashboards, and support periodic reviews

Treasury Systems & Technology (Heavy Emphasis)

  • Serve as a power user and subject-matter expert for the Treasury Management System (TMS), preferably Kyriba

  • Maintain and enhance cash positioning, payment workflows, bank connectivity, and reporting within the TMS

  • Drive automation, standardization, and control improvements across treasury processes

  • Support testing, upgrades, and implementation of new TMS functionality

Reporting, Analysis & Projects

  • Build and maintain advanced Excel models for cash forecasting, counterparty exposure, bank fees, and treasury reporting

  • Deliver management-ready dashboards and insights for treasury leadership (forecast accuracy, liquidity, bank fees, and key KPIs)

  • Support bank fee analysis, RFPs, and ongoing bank relationship optimization

  • Participate in and drive treasury-led projects (system enhancements, process redesign, and regional expansion), including support for M&A planning and related activities

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 4–7+ years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, FP&A, or banking operations

  • Strong Treasury Management System (TMS) experience; Kyriba strongly preferred

  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, lookups, pivot tables, modeling); Power BI and/or Tableau experience preferred

  • Solid understanding of cash management, bank operations, and treasury controls

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Preferred / Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting treasury operations across multiple countries

  • Counterparty risk monitoring, including limit tracking and exposure reporting

  • Exposure to short-term investments, money market funds, and bank products

  • FX operations experience (execution, settlement, and cash impact analysis)

  • Familiarity with bank connectivity (SWIFT, host‑to‑host, payment files)

  • Experience in a SOX-controlled, public company environment

  • Ability to streamline, automate, and improve treasury reporting and processes

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 81,000 - 121,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
