Responsibilities

  • Lead the investigation and resolution of complex infrastructure incidents, restoring services within established SLA requirements

  • Analyze and troubleshoot network, Linux, security, load balancing, and hardware-related issues across production environments

  • Manage customer requests and technical demands, ensuring appropriate ownership, communication, and resolution

  • Plan and implement changes related to corrections, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements

  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major or recurring incidents and identify corrective and preventive actions

  • Perform technical assessments of production environments and identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement

  • Collect and analyze technical information from managed environments to support operational, engineering, and customer requirements

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation for customer production environments

  • Operate, maintain, and support customer infrastructure according to contracted services and defined operational procedures

  • Support L2 teams by providing technical analysis, troubleshooting, and escalation support

  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other analysts, contributing to the development of the team

  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and, when applicable, potential opportunities for new solutions or services

  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide technical support during critical incidents and maintenance activities

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Advanced English, with the ability to communicate effectively in technical discussions, written communications, and customer interactions;

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 10 PM, in a hybrid style (two time at the office).

Network Infrastructure

  • Strong experience with enterprise networking and troubleshooting.

  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Dell, Aruba, and/or Arista platforms.

  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, including SFPs, fiber optics, and media converters.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills in routing, DNS, connectivity, latency, and performance.

  • Solid knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VXLAN, MLAG/vPC, Link Aggregation, Spanning Tree, VRF/VRRP, GRE, ACLs, NAT/PAT, and route filtering.

  • Strong understanding of IPv4 and IPv6.

Linux

  • Experience administering and troubleshooting Linux environments (Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu, and derivatives).

  • Knowledge of user management, file systems, LVM, disk management, and system maintenance.

  • Experience with DNS, routing, Apache, IPTables, and VPN technologies (IPsec/OpenVPN).

  • Proficiency with Linux command-line tools.

Security

  • Experience with enterprise firewalls, preferably FortiGate.

  • Knowledge of FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.

  • Experience with IPS/IDS, Web Filtering, Application Control, SSL Inspection, VPNs, and MFA.

  • Palo Alto experience is a plus.

Load Balancing

  • Experience with KEMP LoadMaster.

  • Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP and A10 Networks is a plus.

Remote Access & Hardware

  • Experience with SSH, Telnet, iLO, and iDRAC.

  • Knowledge of Dell and HPE server hardware.

  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and infrastructure issues.

Monitoring

  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring and observability tools.

  • Ability to analyze alerts, metrics, and performance indicators.

  • Experience with Grafana and Zabbix.

  • Monitoring administration and configuration experience is a plus.
