As a Critical Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical infrastructure systems that support our data center operations. This includes HVAC, electrical power systems, plumbing, fire suppression systems, building infrastructure, and vendor management activities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair critical facility infrastructure

  • Support HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire detection and suppression systems

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities

  • Respond to system alarms, incidents, and operational issues

  • Coordinate and supervise specialist vendors and contractors

  • Identify risks, diagnose faults, and implement effective solutions

  • Ensure compliance with safety, operational, and maintenance standards

  • Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives

  • Provide technical guidance and informal leadership to colleagues when required

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with critical building infrastructure such as HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or facility systems

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions

  • Experience working in a mission-critical environment is beneficial (data centers, hospitals, manufacturing, utilities, airports, etc.)

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements

  • Comfortable working with external vendors and service providers

  • Team player with a proactive and customer-focused mindset
