Insights & Communications Intern, Talent Intelligence

Job Summary

Equinix's Talent Intelligence team drives data-informed hiring strategies through research into talent markets, emerging skill trends, sourcing landscapes, workforce capabilities, and more. The team produces a steady stream of insights, but those insights only create impact when they land with the right audience in the right way.

As an Insights & Communications Intern, you'll be the bridge between research and influence. You'll take the data and findings our researchers uncover and transform them into compelling narratives, executive briefings, and visual stories that drive action. Whether the audience is a senior leader who needs the headline in 30 seconds or a hiring manager trying to understand what a tight talent market means for their open role, you'll craft the message that makes the insight stick. This is a great fit for a strong communicator with a creative eye, energized by turning numbers and research into stories that change how people think and act.

Responsibilities

  • Translate talent intelligence research and data into clear and compelling narratives tailored to different audiences, including executives, hiring managers, recruiters, etc

  • Design and produce a range of communication formats including executive briefings, white papers, slide decks, one-pagers, infographics, visual summaries, and more

  • Partner with Talent Intelligence researchers to understand the "so what" behind the data and shape how findings are positioned and communicated

  • Take initial research provided by the team and conduct deep-dive follow-up research to surface related insights, supporting context, and connections that strengthen the story

  • Develop reusable storytelling templates and frameworks the team can leverage to communicate insights more efficiently and consistently

  • Bring a creative perspective to how research is packaged, exploring fresh formats and visual approaches that help insights cut through

Qualifications

  • Available to work full-time through the entire duration of the internship program (June 1st to August 21st, 2026)

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college / university program in journalism, communications, economics, business, or a related field

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone, depth, and format for different audiences

  • A creative flair and an eye for how visuals, structure, and language work together to make a message land

  • Comfortable working with data, not as an analyst, but as a storyteller who can interpret findings, identify the most important angle, and translate numbers into meaning

  • Demonstrated curiosity and research instincts; able to take a starting point and dig deeper to build a fuller picture
