Job Summary

Equinix is seeking an individual contributor, FP&A Senior Manager. You'll be playing a critical role in supporting the teams that drive the company's global growth strategy, including Global Design & Construction (GDC), Procurement, Global Real Estate (GRE), and Corporate Development.

As a key member of the Finance organization, you will partner closely with business leaders responsible for developing, building, and expanding Equinix's global data center platform. You will provide financial leadership across capital planning, forecasting, investment analysis, and executive reporting, helping guide decisions tied to some of the company's largest and most strategic investments.

This role offers a unique combination of regional and global responsibility, leading financial planning and analysis activities across the Americas while supporting global reporting and long-range planning initiatives. You will work directly with senior leaders across multiple functions and regions, translating financial insights into business decisions and helping drive operational and investment outcomes.

Success in this role requires strong FP&A expertise, exceptional business partnership skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and matrixed environment. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, managing complex financial analyses, and diving into the details that support sound business decisions.

Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted finance partner to Global Design & Construction (GDC), Procurement, Global Real Estate (GRE), Corporate Development, and Corporate FP&A teams.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide financial guidance, insights, and decision support for strategic initiatives, capital investments, and operational priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders across multiple functions and influence business decisions through data-driven financial analysis.
  • Support ad hoc business requests, investment evaluations, and strategic projects across the organization.

Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis

  • Own Americas CAPEX planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Lead Americas cash flow forecasting activities and ensure the accuracy and integrity of forecasts.
  • Manage GREET forecasts, redevelopment forecasts, and long-term planning models.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models to support investment and business planning decisions.
  • Manage Construction-in-Progress (CIP) interest forecasting, variance analysis, and financial commentary.
  • Review and provide insights on monthly and quarterly business performance, forecasts, and financial results.
  • Support Corporate FP&A quarterly CAPEX reviews and planning activities.

Global Reporting & Executive Insights

  • Lead the development and delivery of global reporting packages supporting executive leadership and business partners.
  • Produce executive-level reporting and analysis, including CAPEX reviews, investment tracking, project performance reporting, and guidance-related deliverables.
  • Create consolidated global views across regions to support business leaders in understanding financial performance, investment trends, and business outcomes.
  • Manage quarterly Global Project Status Review processes in partnership with Finance and GDC stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain reporting and analysis for key business leaders, including global CAPEX and project investment reporting.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Coordinate planning, forecasting, and reporting deliverables across Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Corporate FP&A, and other finance functions.
  • Partner with finance teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC to ensure alignment and consistency in planning, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Drive the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual finance deliverables.
  • Lead efforts to resolve complex operational, reporting, and systems-related challenges.

Process Improvement & Special Projects

  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, automate reporting, and enhance forecasting accuracy.
  • Support strategic and operational initiatives across Global Real Estate and Procurement.
  • Lead special projects requiring cross-functional coordination, financial analysis, and executive-level visibility.
  • Drive continuous improvements that increase efficiency, scalability, and business value.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or Finance Business Partnering.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to support complex, capital-intensive businesses or large-scale investment environments.
  • Experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing decisions through financial insights.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable business insights.
  • Experience with enterprise planning systems such as Hyperion PBCS or comparable financial planning tools.

Preferred

  • MBA and/or CPA.
  • Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, engineering, real estate, procurement, or capital project organizations.
  • Experience leading global planning, forecasting, or reporting processes.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
  • Experience working in a large, publicly traded, global organization.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 131,000 - 181,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
