Job Summary

The Director of Enterprise Finance Systems & Transformation is responsible for leading the global strategy, delivery, and optimization of Oracle Financials Cloud ERP and EPM platforms. This role partners closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT to architect scalable processes, enhance financial reporting capabilities, and enable global business growth through a modern, integrated financial technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap

  • Define and execute a multi‑year transformation roadmap for Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM to support global scale, operational efficiency, and evolving business requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that modernize finance processes and increase automation across the enterprise.

Cross‑Functional Alignment

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, and IT, ensuring system design meets complex statutory, regulatory, tax, and reporting needs.
  • Influence senior stakeholders on technology investments, process changes, and data governance priorities.

Oracle ERP/EPM Excellence

  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing enhancement of Oracle Cloud Financials and EPM modules, enabling improvements in GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.
  • Champion best practices for global standardization across financial processes.

Cloud Governance & Release Management

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud quarterly releases, including impact assessment, regression testing, change control, and new feature adoption.
  • Establish governance frameworks to ensure platform stability and alignment with business priorities.

Systems Integration & Architecture

  • Direct complex integrations between Oracle Financials and third‑party systems (e.g., Salesforce, HRIS, banking/payment networks) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and modern integration patterns.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture leaders to ensure a scalable, secure, and reliable financial systems ecosystem.

Operational & Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a high‑performing global team of Oracle functional and technical specialists, ensuring adherence to SLAs and operational excellence.
  • Develop staffing strategies, career development pathways, and high‑performance culture.

Compliance, Controls & Security

  • Ensure the Oracle environment remains fully compliant with internal controls, SOX, GDPR, and audit requirements.
  • Implement and maintain strict Segregation of Duties (SoD) and data security policies.

Vendor & Financial Management

  • Manage relationships with Oracle, SI partners, and technology vendors to maximize ROI and ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Own the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Oracle licensing, infrastructure, and support operations.

Reporting & Data Insights

  • Standardize global financial reporting using OTBI, Financial Reporting Studio, Smart View, and related tools to deliver real‑time insights to executive leadership.
  • Partner with FP&A to modernize analytical capabilities and improve data quality.

Change Management & Adoption

  • Lead global change management efforts, including training, communication, and user enablement for new Oracle features, processes, and integrations.
  • Champion a culture of adoption, data integrity, and process excellence.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience leading Oracle Cloud Financials application implementations and support operations.
  • Proven leadership managing 3+ successful global Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM implementations.
  • Strong background in finance processes, global accounting standards, regulatory compliance, and enterprise‑scale ERP governance.
  • Expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP, EPM, OIC, and financial data/reporting tools (OTBI, Smart View, FRS).
  • Demonstrated success leading high‑performing functional and technical teams in complex, global environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational change leadership skills.

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 177,000 - 265,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
