Job Summary
As an Hyperscale Customer Project Manager (CPM), you will lead large, complex customer deployments for Equinix’s most strategic customers. You will own end-to-end delivery, from project initiation through closure, ensuring commitments are met or exceeded while providing a seamless, high-quality customer experience.
This role requires strong independent judgment, executive-level customer engagement, and the ability to manage cross-functional, multi-site, and cross-regional deployments. You will serve as the primary point of contact, proactively managing risks, issues, timelines, and stakeholder expectations throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
Lead and manage large-scale, cross-functional, multi-site, and/or cross-regional customer deployments
Own the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, change management, and closure
Develop, maintain, and actively manage comprehensive project schedules and deployment plans
Identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and in-flight changes
Proactively surface potential timeline and delivery risks and communicate impact clearly to internal stakeholders and customers
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary customer interface during deployments, maintaining an executive-level presence
Build strong, trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and internal partners
Lead regular customer and internal governance meetings to review progress, risks, and milestones
Deliver clear, timely, and professional customer communications covering updates, issues, resolutions, and key milestones
Coordinate final project walk-throughs and deliver project close-out documentation
Escalations & Issue Resolution
Independently manage standard and mid-level escalations; partner with management on complex issues as required
Drive issue resolution with urgency, persistence, and professionalism
Hold internal teams accountable for delivery commitments, outcomes, and timelines
Cross-Functional Leadership
Effectively engage and coordinate internal teams across sales, operations, design, construction, and external vendors
Facilitate clear, consistent communication across all delivery teams
Leverage experience and judgment to anticipate challenges and address issues early in the process
Continuous Improvement
Capture lessons learned through customer and internal debriefs
Apply insights to improve future deployments, processes, and customer experiences

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven ability to manage large, complex customer projects with minimal supervision
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution discipline
Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build strong internal and customer relationships
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to remain calm and effective under pressure
Solid understanding of data centre environments and infrastructure deployments
Working knowledge of Equinix products, services, and operational processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Professional presence suitable for executive-level customer interactions
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
Poland - Warsaw Office WAO : 192,000 - 317,000 PLN / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
