Nico Strina
is VP of Network Software & Platform Architecture at Equinix. Nico is responsible for developing the next generation network hardware and software stacks (orchestration and telemetry) and the multi-cloud networking dataplane. The focus of Nico is to support product organizations by increasing network efficiency using automation while reducing the overall TCO of our network infrastructure. Nico is currently based in Concord, CA. 

Before joining the team, Nico was part of the OCTO (office of the CTO) focusing on the evolution of our network and software networking stacks. Prior to joining Equinix, Nico worked at Twilio where he was tasked to build the “Super Network” global network and automation platform. Nico also worked at Twitch, where he was responsible for the acquisitions, design, expansion, and interconnections of the global IP network used to deliver billions of minutes of videos to subscribers. Prior to Twitch, Nico was CTO of Jaguar Network where he was responsible for driving the creation, evolution, and operations of Jaguar Network’s product portfolio. Nico is also cofounder of France-IX where he served twice as board member. 






Serpil Bayraktar
is a Senior Director of Engineering on the Network Infrastructure and Engineering team at Equinix. 

She has held technical and executive leadership roles in various companies including Cisco Systems and Juniper Networks. She was one of the 10 female Distinguished Engineers (out of 190) at Cisco. She founded Cisco’s Women in Technology program and served as the global chair of Cisco Women in Science and Engineering group in order to improve gender diversity. She is passionate about creating high performing engineering teams and delivering state of the art cloud and networking infrastructure solutions.

Serpil holds a B.S. in EE from Istanbul Technical University and an MBA from Eastern Michigan University.

Kristine Antons
is a Senior Engineering Manager on the Network Software and Platform Architecture team at Equinix. She leads a team focused on developing microservices to orchestrate the network in multiple projects that aim to build a programmable network platform that empowers customers, developers, and network operators.

Previous to joining this team, she was the Senior Engineering Manager of the Software Networking team in Equinix Metal. Prior to Equinix, she was a Software Test Engineer and Manager in Enterprise Switching at Cisco Systems working on next generation campus LAN access switches. Before that, she started her career as a software developer at HP ProCurve Networking working on wireless, security, and unified communications.

Kristine has a BS in Computer Science & Engineering from UCLA and lives in Sunnyvale, CA.

 






Adam Rothschild
is Equinix's Director of Core Network Architecture. He manages a globally distributed team responsible for Equinix's next generation networking hardware, software, and routing and switching strategies, in support of Equinix's diverse portfolio of cloud and interconnection products. 

Adam joined Equinix in 2020 through its acquisition of Packet, a bare metal cloud provider, which he co-founded in 2014. Adam has lead network architecture and operational teams at several innovative providers in the cloud and hosting industry, including Voxel (acquired by Internap). Adam works out of his home office in Rockland County, New York, which he often shares with a black and white shelter cat.
