Job Summary
Equinix is seeking a transformational Vice President of Colocation Products to lead the company's largest and most strategically important business. Colocation represents $6.5B in annual revenue, the majority of Equinix's $9.2B total, and is supported by capital investment running at a pace of approximately $5B annually, with roughly 90% directed toward growth and capacity expansion.
Reporting to the SVP of Infrastructure Products, this executive will own product strategy, lifecycle management, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence across a platform spanning 280 data centers, 77 markets, and more than 10,500 customers.
The role requires a rare combination of product leadership, technology vision, operational discipline, and commercial acumen, balancing the needs of today's installed base with the emerging requirements of AI infrastructure, high-density compute, and hybrid multicloud.

What You'll Own
Define the Future of Colocation
Develop and execute the long-term strategy for a portfolio serving enterprises, service providers, hyperscalers, and AI-native companies
Lead product vision, roadmap development, lifecycle management, market positioning, and strategic investment decisions
Equinix is currently working with eight of the top ten AI model providers and four of the top five neoclouds, all of whom are actively expanding. This role shapes how that demand is productized
Drive Growth, Profitability, and Capital Efficiency
Own business performance for a $6.5B global portfolio growing at a 10–11% annual pace, and help maximize returns on a capital program approaching $5B per year
Partner across Product, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Technology to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and disciplined capital deployment
Equinix delivered 51% adjusted EBITDA margins in Q1 2026. This role helps sustain and extend that performance
Deliver Industry-Leading Customer Experiences
Champion a customer-first approach that simplifies how customers design, purchase, deploy, expand, and operate infrastructure with Equinix
Create a coherent experience across direct customers, channel partners, resellers, and ecosystems
Lead Product Modernization and Innovation
Balance a large installed base with the introduction of new capabilities and infrastructure models
Drive innovation while ensuring the reliability standard Equinix is known for, 99.9999%+ availability

Liquid cooling, where Equinix grew deployments 50% in a single quarter

Lead a global product organization while influencing thousands of stakeholders across Product, Sales, Operations, DIO, and Customer Success

Qualifications
Required
15+ years of leadership experience in product management, digital infrastructure, cloud platforms, data center services, networking, or enterprise technology
Proven experience leading large-scale global products, platforms, or infrastructure businesses
Demonstrated success owning significant revenue, P&L, product, or general management responsibilities
Strong understanding of colocation, cloud, digital infrastructure, networking, or adjacent markets
Exceptional executive communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience leading organizational and product transformation
Preferred
Experience in hyperscale cloud, digital infrastructure, data center, networking, or platform companies
General management experience with responsibility for revenue growth and profitability
Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 272,000 - 408,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
