Who are we?
Equinix is the world’s digital infrastructure company®, shortening the path to connectivity to enable the innovations that enrich our work, life and planet.
A place where bold ideas are welcomed, human connection is valued, and everyone has the opportunity to shape their future.
At Equinix, our Critical Facilities Engineers operate, manage, maintain, and repair critical and non-critical power systems, HVAC, BMS, plumbing, fire control & suppression, and all site services. Our Critical Facilities team also perform all related vendor support activities within a mission-critical environment.
Our engineers work across multiple engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical and controls). Candidates with recent service, maintenance or commissioning experience within building automation, industrial automation, manufacturing, FMCG, utilities, oil & gas, HVAC controls or related industries are encouraged to apply.
Whilst data centre experience is always valued, it is not essential. We are particularly interested in Controls professionals who are looking to apply their technical expertise within a highly resilient, mission-critical environment and broaden their skills across critical infrastructure operations. Our Melbourne Cluster consists of four facilities, so flexibility to occasionally work across sites and support wider engineering teams will be highly regarded.
