Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The accountant will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of our Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany Transaction accounting, contributing to financial reporting.

Responsibilities

•              Prepares and posts journal entries in Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany areas.

•              Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate reclasses or accrual requests

•              Prepare Global Balance sheet recons.

•              Assist in preparing documentation for SOX related tasks

•              Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

•              Participate in internal controls related to General accounting.

•              Work closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, AP,

AR, FP&A, Statutory and GL Reporting to gather relevant information.

•              Assist in preparation of data for auditors during internal and external audits.

•              Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and recommend improvements.

•              Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• On track to graduate 2025 with a Bachelor’s in Accounting, or related field.
• Available to commit internship via University OJT or via form of elective module (Flexible start date between June - September 2024)
• Graduating in 2025 preferred
• Based in Manila
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in oracle cloud accounting software is a Plus
