Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations sits within the DIO Office of the COO (DCOO) and leads strategic projects across DIO, spanning planning, strategy, operations, and finance. This role suits a thought leader who is equally comfortable framing the problem and getting into the details to deliver the answer. You will take unstructured, ambiguous situations and turn them into clear, organized approaches that leaders can act on. You will also build the AI agents and workflows that make those approaches run at scale. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, move quickly as priorities shift, and bring structure without adding bureaucracy.
Responsibilities
Strategic project leadership
- Own and drive high-impact, cross-organizational initiatives from problem definition through execution and handoff, with minimal direction
Structuring ambiguity
- Frame open-ended business questions, define scope and success measures, and develop clear frameworks, options, and recommendations
Strategy and planning
- Partner with the Senior Director and Director to shape annual and multi-year strategy, operating plans, and prioritization across DIO value streams
Operational excellence
- Design and improve operating mechanisms, including governance, cadences, and decision forums, that help teams execute with clarity and pace
Financial partnership
- Work with Finance and DIO leaders on budget planning, SG&A targets, resource allocation, and business case development, ensuring investments tie to outcomes
Cross-functional alignment
- Build alignment across DIO functions
- Surface dependencies, risks, and trade-offs early and drive timely resolution
Executive communication
- Develop concise, insight-led narratives, analyses, and materials for senior and executive leadership, with a clear point of view and recommended decisions
AI agent and workflow development
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents and internal AI workflows that automate planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting across DIO
- Identify where automation adds the most leverage, prototype quickly, and iterate with users
AI adoption and enablement
- Partner with DIO teams to adopt AI-enabled ways of working, and document and share patterns so that solutions scale beyond a single use case
Organizational leverage
- Build reusable templates, playbooks, and mechanisms that scale how DIO plans, prioritizes, and delivers
Qualifications
Required Qualifications

- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives to completion in fast-changing environments
- Demonstrated skill in turning ambiguous problems into structured plans, with strong analytical, quantitative, and financial acumen
- Track record of influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including executive-ready storytelling
- Hands-on working style: able to build the analysis or the plan yourself while also setting the direction
- Strong AI fluency, with hands-on experience building internal AI workflows or agents (for example, using LLM platforms, prompt and agent design, or low-code and automation tools) that have been adopted by a team or organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience at a large-scale, high-growth technology company or a leading consulting firm
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Experience in budget planning, SG&A management, or business case development
