Job Summary

Equinix is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Systems Analyst - Oracle Purchasing/Procurement to join our Bangalore office. In this role, you will serve as the functional and systems expert for Procurement processes and technology solutions, partnering closely with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and other business stakeholders to drive process excellence and digital transformation.

You will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing scalable procurement solutions, optimizing Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, and supporting global procurement initiatives across Oracle and related procurement platforms.

The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise in Oracle Purchasing/Procurement with exceptional analytical, stakeholder management, and solution design skills.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering business value through process standardization, automation, system enhancements, integrations, and adoption of best-in-class procurement practices that support Equinix's global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary functional SME for Oracle Purchasing and Procurement processes across global business units

  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and prioritize business requirements

  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and implementation roadmaps

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Source-to-Pay, Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Management, Requisitioning, Purchasing, and Procurement Operations

  • Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, efficiency improvements, and risk reduction

  • Lead requirements workshops, process mapping sessions, gap analyses, and solution design discussions

  • Configure and support Oracle Procurement solutions, including testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization activities

  • Collaborate with development teams, integration teams, and third-party vendors to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions

  • Support procurement system integrations with ERP, Finance, Supplier Management, Contract Management, and other enterprise platforms

  • Lead business process documentation, data analysis, system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and metrics that provide visibility into procurement performance and operational effectiveness

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing recommendations aligned with procurement best practices and industry standards

  • Support production issues, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex functional challenges

  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building procurement domain expertise across the team

  • Stay current with Oracle Procurement capabilities, industry trends, and emerging procurement technologies

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Consultant supporting Procurement and Purchasing business processes

  • Strong experience with Oracle Purchasing / Oracle Procurement Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement modules

  • Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Source-to-Pay (S2P) business processes

  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and solution designs

  • Proven track record of leading procurement system implementations, enhancements, and transformation initiatives

  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies, supplier management, purchasing controls, approval workflows, and compliance requirements

  • Experience supporting enterprise application integrations between procurement, ERP, and finance systems

  • Hands-on experience with system testing, UAT coordination, defect management, and production support

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery environments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels

  • Ability to work effectively with global teams across different time zones

  • Oracle Procurement Cloud Implementation Certification (nice to have)

  • Experience leading or supporting Oracle Procurement Cloud implementation projects

  • Knowledge of Coupa, SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, GEP, Ivalua, or other procurement platforms

  • Experience with procurement analytics, reporting, and KPI development

  • Understanding of supplier onboarding, supplier risk management, contract management, and spend management processes

  • Experience working with integrations, APIs, middleware, or data migration activities

  • Knowledge of Finance and Supply Chain business processes

  • Project management or change management experience is a plus
