Job Summary
Principal Product Manager with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, particularly Oracle Fusion Tax, and hands-on experience integrating third-party tax engines such as Vertex etc. This role will own the end-to-end product strategy, design, and integration roadmap for tax capabilities across Oracle ERP subledgers, ensuring scalable, compliant, and globally consistent tax determination and reporting.
The ideal candidate combines deep ERP functional knowledge, tax domain expertise, and strong solution architecture and integration skills, with a proven track record of leading enterprise grade solutioning across complex financial systems.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
Define and drive the roadmap for Oracle Fusion Tax /Vertex within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
Own strategy for tax integration across Oracle subledgers including:
-Accounts Payable (AP)
-Accounts Receivable (AR)
-General Ledger (GL)
-Procurement
-Projects
Align product direction with global tax compliance requirements (VAT, GST, WHT, Sales & Use Tax, etc.)
Tax Engine Integration (Vertex & Oracle Tax)
Lead architecture and implementation of integrations between Oracle Fusion Tax and Vertex
Ensure seamless tax calculation, exemption handling, and jurisdictional compliance.
Solutioning & Architecture
Lead end-to-end solutioning for complex ERP tax scenarios across multi-entity, multi-country organizations
Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion designs
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Finance, Tax, Compliance, and IT leadership teams
Work closely with Oracle engineering, SaaS product teams, and implementation partners
Product Execution
Define detailed functional requirements and user stories for tax capabilities.
Lead prioritization of features based on regulatory, customer, and platform needs
Oversee testing strategy for tax accuracy across end-to-end financial flows
Qualifications
10+ years in ERP product management, solution architecture, or functional consulting
Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, especially Fusion Tax
Strong experience across Oracle financial subledgers (AP, AR, GL, Procurement)
Proven experience integrating or working with Vertex tax engine
Strong understanding of global indirect tax systems (VAT, GST, Sales, WHT & Use Tax)
Hands-on solutioning experience in complex ERP transformation programs
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and system design skills
Excellent communication with both technical and executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Background in Big 4 consulting or enterprise ERP implementations
Familiarity with multi-country tax compliance automation
Exposure to large-scale Oracle Cloud migrations or transformations
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
