To many, the term “Silk Road” evokes exotic images of camel trains and ancient cities. In reality, there was no single Silk Road; there were multiple land and sea routes used to transport goods between east and west. In addition to silk, these goods included spices, tea, porcelain and precious stones. Now, there’s a digital equivalent to the Silk Routes forming between Asia and Europe.
