We’re looking for a skilled Facilities Technician who has a solid understanding of facility operations and enjoys tackling moderately complex maintenance tasks. In this role, you’ll use your knowledge of standard operating procedures to troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and keep critical infrastructure running smoothly. You’ll work independently on most day-to-day tasks while supporting a team dedicated to maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable facility.

Key Responsibilities

Facility & Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems.

  • Complete repairs, installations, and on-site inspections to support optimal performance.

  • Monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolve alarms following SOPs.

  • Operate and maintain plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems.

  • Support senior technicians with operating critical infrastructure.

  • Work with minimal supervision on daily tasks and follow general guidance for new assignments.

Vendor Coordination

  • Assist with vendor work approval processes, including daily check-ins and final work reviews.

  • Ensure all vendor activities follow company safety and operational standards.

  • Partner with vendors to update technical documentation and ensure equipment files remain accurate and current.

Site Administration & Incident Response

  • Complete required site logs and documentation, including MOPs and scripts.

  • Identify potential Single Points of Failure (SPOFs) and recommend solutions.

  • Respond to on-site incidents such as equipment failures, system alarms, and operational delays.

  • Follow established procedures to support daily site administration.

Work Orders & Special Projects

  • Complete routine work orders and assist with circuit installations.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain office or auxiliary equipment when needed to prevent downtime.

  • Make minor adjustments to mechanical, electrical, and specialized systems.

  • Participate in facility and infrastructure improvement projects.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with team members to resolve facility-related issues.

  • Support and mentor colleagues on general maintenance tasks.

  • Communicate inventory or supply needs to ensure critical parts and equipment remain stocked.

  • Provide input on potential infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in facilities, maintenance, mechanical/electrical systems, or a related field

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - DC12 Washington DC : 67,400 - 101,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
