Responsabilities

• Design and lead the implementation of enterprise-grade network solutions for customers in hybrid environments.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for complex network project architectures and configurations
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, best practices, and governance standards
• Drive automation and optimization strategies to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with global clients and teams to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions

 

Requirements

• Strong experience in network engineering, with a focus on expert-level roles or leadership positions in large-scale enterprise or data center environments.
• Proven success in designing and implementing highly available and secure networks.
• Core Expertise:
• Routing and Switching: Advanced proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting enterprise-grade switches and routers (Cisco, Juniper, Arista). Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and other advanced protocols
• Datacenter Networking: Expertise in SDN (e.g., Cisco ACI, VMware NSX), fabric architectures, and multi-vendor integration
• Security and Firewalls: Advanced knowledge of firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA) and VPNs (site-to-site, client-to-site). Experience with IPS/IDS solutions
• High Availability Protocols: Expertise in HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP for redundancy and fault tolerance
• Network Performance and Monitoring:
• Deep understanding of QoS (Quality of Service) for traffic prioritization
• Advanced experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios) and network performance optimization
• Cloud Networking:
• Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud solutions, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud networking
• Proficiency in cloud-native network services, including load balancers, virtual gateways, and cloud security configurations

 

Language Skills

• Fluent English – required for high-level communication, presentations, and documentation.
• Intermediate Spanish – sufficient for technical discussions in global teams.

 

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Advanced degrees (MSc, MBA) or relevant certifications are highly desirable.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Expertise in automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
• Certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or similar are highly desirable
• Familiarity with MPLS and SD-WAN solutions
