Job Summary
Supports the delivery of projects under guidance and develops foundational project management knowledge through hands-on experience and learning.
Responsibilities
Planning
Creates simple task lists for themselves and, when provided with clear guidance, documents assigned tasks into project plans for small groups or teams
Stakeholder Management
Demonstrates awareness of immediate key stakeholders and, with guidance, is able to identify and understand their needs
Communications
Provides personal task and progress updates within their team or assigned project
Uses standard tools and templates with feedback from more senior colleagues to support learning and development
Risk Management
Is aware of potential project risks and demonstrates an understanding of basic preventative actions
Escalates risks or concerns as needed under guidance
Project Delivery
Supports the delivery of projects by completing assigned tasks under guidance and within defined timelines
Resource Management (people, finances etc.)
Develops foundational knowledge of resource management by assisting others in tracking and maintaining project resources, documentation, and timesheets
Customer Care
Supports assigned simple customer-related projects through completion under close guidance
Communicates with customers at pre-defined milestones using approved messaging and processes
Demonstrates basic technical knowledge of designated products and processes
Handles escalations with close guidance from a leader or manager
Assists in resolving issues under guidance to support positive customer outcomes
Qualifications
Entry-level experience (0–2 years) preferred
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Entry-level or introductory Project Management certification preferred
Growth mindset with the ability to strive in a fast-paced environment to meet multiple project deadlines
