Alina Alvi

Sales Engineer 

Alina is a Sales Engineer at Equinix, where she helps customers solve business challenges through tailored solutions. She joined Equinix after a year-long internship with the Global Technical Sales Team, where she discovered her passion for sales and the value of working in a culture that encourages growth, curiosity, and connection. Alina brings a strong mix of business insight, relationship-building, and technical understanding to every conversation.

Chris Yates 

SVP, Head of Talent 

Chris Yates is the Senior Vice President, Head of Talent at Equinix, leading global efforts to attract, retain, and develop diverse talent while fostering a culture of growth and belonging. With previous leadership roles at Ford, Microsoft, Caterpillar, HSBC and American Express, he is passionate about empathy and culture in business, authoring two books—Rewire and Share. Chris is a big QPR fan, enjoys drumming, kite flying, and family life with his three children.

Alexander Gasmena 

HR Lead

Alexander Gasmena is the HR Transformation Lead at Equinix. Since 2020, he has led Global HR Services, shifting from local delivery to a global model focused on employee experience. With 20+ years in business transformation and HR, he’s known for building shared services, implementing advanced HR systems, and using automation and AI to streamline operations. He’s passionate about enhancing employee experience and driving organizational success

Marc Mondesir

Managing Director, Canada

Marc is a seasoned tech professional with 28+ years of experience at Xerox, Microsoft, and Dell Technologies. He is currently the Managing Director and VP at Equinix Canada. Marc excels in identifying market opportunities and is committed to equitable leadership, D&I initiatives, and community involvement. He holds an MBA from Queens University.

HR Specialist

Anu’s journey to Equinix began with a spark of connection and a shared belief in authenticity and inclusion. Now part of the People Team, she’s shaping the future of work in an environment where bold ideas thrive and every voice matters. She is bilingual HR professional with experience at organizations like Remote.com, Colas Canada, and CN Rail. Anu brings deep expertise in employee relations, recruitment, policy development, and in fostering a positive workplace culture.
