Job Summary

As a Principal Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and execution of our Internal Developer Platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that accelerate modern software development, improve operational efficiency, and embed security and reliability into every stage of the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Internal Developer Platforms that support modern engineering teams

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and deliver features that improve developer productivity, platform reliability, and security

  • Own the full product lifecycle—from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and continuous improvement

  • Develop tools and services that streamline CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, observability, and governance

  • Use customer feedback, usage data, and market trends to inform product decisions and drive innovation

  • Foster a culture of experimentation, agility, and continuous learning across product and engineering teams

  • Act as a technical product leader and strategic partner to executives, stakeholders, and customers

  • Use data-driven insights, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product decisions and prioritization

  • Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across product and engineering teams

  • Act as a thought leader and trusted partner to executives, stakeholders, and customers

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on technical products and platform engineering

  • Deep understanding of Internal Developer Platforms, cloud-native architectures, and modern software delivery practices

  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering impactful products in fast-paced environments

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage deeply with engineering, DevOps, and security teams

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and data-informed product development

  • Customer-first mindset with a passion for solving real-world challenges faced by engineering teams

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on experience with developer portals, platform-as-a-product strategies, and engineering enablement tools

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, observability, and secure software supply chains

  • Experience working in high-scale environments with distributed systems and hybrid/multi-cloud infrastructure

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - CA Non-Bay Area, AK, CT, DC, HI, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, VA, WA : 171,000 - 257,000 USD / Annual

United States - CA Bay Area : 179,000 - 269,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
