The Sr Manager of Sales Compensation is responsible for managing and administering sales compensation programs for assigned geography/group. Provides feedback to aid in design of sales compensation plans that drive desired behaviors and evaluates program effectiveness. Provides needed administrative support to ensure timely and accurate payment of sales incentives and addresses field inquiries/questions. Completes ad hoc and regular reports and analysis to evaluate program effectiveness.

Knowledge & Application: Establishes operational objectives, policies, procedures and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates. Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. May be accountable for department budget which may be broad and have far reaching impact on the business segment. Receives objective based assignments and determines resources to meet schedules and goals. Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies. Evaluates and recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that may also require cross-functional collaboration. Decisions impact others in the immediate team or cross-functionally and influences methods and techniques. Executes financials, business planning, organizational priorities and workforce.

Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires conceptual thinking and an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Problems are not clearly defined and lack strategic direction. Implements policies and selects methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Drives the strategy and success of larger projects which contribute to multiple areas of the organization. Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors. Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results. 

Discretion & Impact: Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities. Decisions directly impact short-term less than one-year results of the team/ program/ group. Translates functional plans into operational processes and guides execution. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may have up to a one-year impact.

Collaboration and Interaction: Interacts regularly with lower and/or senior management on matters concerning several functional areas, department, and/or customers. Requires the ability to persuade others in sensitive complex situations while preserving relationships. Applies knowledge to convince other stakeholders on desired departmental outcomes. Interacts frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group professionals, involving matters between sections and multiple units. Partners with key contacts outside own area of expertise and other external stakeholders. Effectively communicates and presents results and recommendations across discipline.

Management & Supervision: Oversees and manages activities of experienced level professionals, subordinate managers in a diverse and globally distributed environment. Frequently advises team(s) on moderately complex matters. Manages the activities of a discipline through professionals and/or skilled technicians. Guides by function or department practices and well-defined management precedents. Evaluates and develops talent.

 

Qualifications

· 10+ years experience preferred

· Bachelor's degree preferred

 

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 136,000 - 204,000 USD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
