The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in building dashboards, analytical reports, and semantic models, along with exposure to AI/ML-driven analytics capabilities to enhance business decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)

  • Configure, extend, and customize Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) prebuilt content, KPIs, and augmented analytics for Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM modules

  • Build and optimize semantic/RPD models, subject areas, and data models to support self-service analytics

  • Integrate data from multiple sources (Oracle Fusion Applications, ERP/HCM/SCM, on-prem/cloud databases, flat files) into OAC/FDI

  • Leverage AI/ML capabilities within OAC (e.g., Explain, Smart Insights, Auto Insights, forecasting, anomaly detection) and/or integrate external AI models to enhance analytical outputs

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and visual analytics solutions

  • Optimize report performance, manage data security (row-level/object-level), and ensure data governance standards are met

  • Work with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Data Visualization (DV), and BI Publisher as needed for extended reporting requirements

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, semantic layers, and dashboard performance

  • Provide guidance/mentorship to junior team members and participate in code/design reviews

  • Stay current with Oracle's evolving analytics and AI roadmap (e.g., Fusion Data Intelligence enhancements, Generative AI features)

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 4–5 years focused on Oracle OAC / OBIEE / Oracle Analytics Server

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) – prebuilt KPIs, data pipelines, and augmented analytics

  • Strong expertise in building RPD/semantic models, OAC Data Visualization projects, and enterprise dashboards

  • Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications data model (ERP, HCM, SCM, or Financials — whichever is relevant to your org)

  • Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling)

  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts as applied to analytics — e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection, NLP-based querying, or Generative AI integration with BI tools

  • Experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) or other cloud data warehouse platforms

  • Familiarity with data integration tools (ODI, OCI Data Integration, or similar) is a plus

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical deliverables

Preferred/Good to Have

  • Oracle Cloud certifications (OAC, Fusion Applications, or OCI)

  • Experience with Generative AI tools/APIs (e.g., OCI Generative AI, integrating LLMs with BI workflows)

  • Exposure to Python/R for advanced analytics or AI model integration

  • Prior experience in a techno-functional role, bridging business and technical teams

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
