Job Summary

The Business Analyst Advisor supports business analysis, process improvement, reporting, automation, and AI-enabled productivity initiatives for global stakeholders across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. The role works closely with product squads, automation squads, and cross-functional teams to document requirements, analyze process gaps, support dashboards and metrics, assist with basic ETL activities, and contribute to workflow automation and AI agent development. This position contributes to improving operational efficiency, data visibility, and user experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis and Process Improvement

  • Apply structured methodologies and standard tools to analyze functional and cross-functional business processes.

  • Identify process gaps, operational pain points, manual activities, data inconsistencies, and automation opportunities.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process standardization, workflow optimization, and efficiency improvements.

Squad and Delivery Support

  • Support product squads and automation squads by documenting backlog items, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery progress.

  • Maintain task lists, timelines, deliverables, action items, and status updates using standard tools and templates.

  • Track activities, ownership, and follow-ups using tools such as Smartsheet and Excel.

Stakeholder Management and Communication

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across AMER, EMEA, and APAC to understand business needs, reporting requirements, and improvement opportunities.

  • Assist with stakeholder mapping and needs analysis under guidance from more senior colleagues.

  • Coordinate with business users, technical teams, and cross-functional partners through implementation and post-implementation stages.

  • Escalate risks, blockers, unclear requirements, or issues when additional guidance is required.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally in English through meetings, documentation, and written updates.

Business Requirements and Process Documentation

  • Document business requirements, process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, meeting notes, and action items.

  • Support cross-functional requirement documentation and assist with functional and solution design activities.

  • Help analyze, define, and document business processes within and across functional areas.

Data, Reporting, and ETL Support

  • Support basic ETL activities, including data extraction, cleaning, transformation, validation, and preparation for reporting.

  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, trackers, and metrics using Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet, and other business tools.

  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and support data quality, consistency, and usability across reports and dashboards.

  • Contribute to regular status reporting on progress, risks, and issues.

Automation, Power Platform, and AI Enablement

  • Support the development and maintenance of workflow solutions and business applications using Microsoft Power Platform and Power Apps.

  • Apply programming logic concepts to support automation, data handling, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of AI agents using Microsoft Copilot to improve productivity and automate repetitive tasks.

  • Document automation opportunities, business rules, exceptions, test scenarios, and expected benefits.

Implementation, Testing, and Change Support

  • Support implementation activities for dashboards, workflows, automations, AI agents, and process improvements.

  • Assist with updating process and procedural documentation before and after deployment.

  • Participate in user acceptance testing by documenting test scenarios, defects, results, and feedback.

  • Support post-deployment analysis related to adoption, outcomes, and improvement opportunities.

Internal Customer Support

  • Support internal stakeholder requests through completion with appropriate guidance.

  • Communicate progress against predefined milestones, deliverables, and squad commitments.

  • Handle issues and escalations with close guidance from a manager, product owner, or senior colleague.

Required Qualifications

  • Practical, applied experience in business analysis, operations support, process analysis, reporting, automation, data analysis, or project support.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel for analysis, tracking, and reporting.

  • Knowledge of programming logic and structured problem-solving approaches.

  • Fluent English communication skills for collaboration with global stakeholders.

  • Ability to document processes, requirements, and action items clearly and accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, Power Apps, Power BI, or similar business tools.

  • Familiarity with ETL concepts and data preparation for reporting.

  • Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, SharePoint, or AI-enabled productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio.

  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working, product squads, automation squads, backlog management, user stories, and UAT.

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement concepts such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, or workflow optimization.

  • Exposure to Python, JavaScript, Google Sheets, Notion, or similar automation and collaboration tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
