Role Overview 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support the Chief of Staff function. This role offers hands-on exposure to executive operations, cross-functional coordination, and strategic communications within a fast-paced organizational environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and eager to contribute across a diverse set of responsibilities. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Communications & Content 

  • Own end-to-end production of the monthly team newsletter, including content coordination, drafting, and distribution. 
  • Develop and maintain polished presentation decks for leadership reviews, stakeholder briefings, and internal workshops. 
  • Contribute to internal communications such as announcements, briefings, and team updates as directed by the Chief of Staff. 

Operations & Planning 

  • Support headcount reconciliation efforts by tracking and validating workforce data across systems and organizational records. 
  • Assist with meeting preparation including agenda creation, pre-read compilation, logistics coordination, and post-meeting documentation. 
  • Own the team's action item and decision log, ensuring follow-through is tracked and stakeholders are kept accountable. 
  • Execute follow-up items stemming from leadership meetings, cross-functional syncs, and executive reviews. Build and maintain operational dashboards that surface key metrics, project status, and team performance data for leadership visibility. 

Data & Reporting

  • Conduct ad hoc research and benchmarking to inform strategic decisions and leadership-level discussions. 

Documentation & Knowledge Management 

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and how-to guides for recurring workflows to improve team efficiency. 
  • Maintain an up-to-date stakeholder engagement log and relationship map across partner teams and key contacts. 

Onboarding & Team Support 

  • Coordinate logistics and materials for onboarding new team members, ensuring a smooth and organized experience. 
  • Provide general project management support to the Chief of Staff and broader team on emerging priorities. 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

Communication 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, professional content for diverse audiences. 

Project Management 

  • Familiarity with PM principles — task tracking, prioritization, and deadline management. Experience with tools like Confluence, Jira, or and MS Teams is a plus.  Data & Analytics 
  • Comfort working with data; experience creating dashboards or reports in Excel or Power BI preferred. 

Presentation Design 

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint; ability to translate complex information into visually compelling slides. 

Attention to Detail 

  • Meticulous approach to data accuracy, document formatting, and follow-through on action items. 

Organizational Skills 

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment. 

Collaboration 

  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization. 

Discretion & Professionalism 

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field. 
  • Exposure to executive or leadership support functions is a strong plus. 
  • Familiarity with data visualization, reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms. 
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Confluence, or SharePoint.
