  • Oversee routine operational activities including rounds, logs, checks, permits, and documentation
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring work is properly planned and controlled
  • Maintain high standards of operational readiness, housekeeping, and site discipline

Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Act as the on‑site lead for third‑party contractors and service providers
  • Ensure all vendor activity meets Equinix safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Monitor performance, validate work completion, and drive close‑out of actions
  • Support service reviews and continuous improvement of vendor delivery

Incident, Change & Problem Management

  • Act as a first point of escalation during incidents or abnormal operating conditions
  • Coordinate on‑site response activities, communications, and recovery actions
  • Ensure incidents are accurately documented with high‑quality RCA and corrective actions
  • Support change management processes, ensuring risk is assessed, approved, and communicated

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Role‑model and enforce Equinix health, safety, and security standards at all times
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and audit expectations
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, records, and training compliance
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and risk‑management activities

Stakeholder & Customer Support

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Security, Construction/Projects, and Customer Operations teams
  • Support customer requirements and site readiness, including professional engagement during visits or tours
  • Enable project delivery through strong operational coordination and risk management

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Background

  • Electrical or Mechanical background
  • Experience working in a data center, critical facilities, FM, or mission‑critical environment

  • Strong people‑leadership mindset with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable
  • Operationally disciplined, structured, and process‑driven
  • Calm and decisive under pressure, particularly during incidents
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal
