Job Summary

Implements billing operations to maximize effectiveness and accuracy. Audits the accuracy of billing information entered in the system and monitors the operation of the billing systems. Develops solutions to billing issues and works with systems design to implement new features. May work on billing projects with Billing Operations Mgmt.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure monthly billing is complete and accurate

  • Analyze and perform timely billing adjustments with proper authorization and documentation

  • Process manual invoices and credit memos as requested

  • Review invoices, conduct variance analysis, and obtain necessary sign-offs

  • Manage customer cases in SFDC (ECM) to meet internal SLAs

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, CSM, Legal, etc.) to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues

  • Track and resolve billing issues, working with upstream teams to address root causes

  • Assist with month-end close tasks

  • Support audits and ensure compliance with SOX controls, including implementing and documenting required processes

  • Offer analytical insights and guidance to peers on complex billing-related problems

  • Provide input for the development and enhancement of billing systems, processes, and policies

  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives and implement best practices for operational efficiency

  • Participate in UATs, projects, and ad hoc assignments

  • Lead small projects focused on system and process efficiencies

  • Skilled in interacting with management levels of both internal and external clients, ensuring clear and professional communication

  • Experienced with Oracle Financial R12, Oracle Cloud, and Salesforce

  • Strong background in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably in a customer-facing environment

  • Strong ability to operate with attention to detail

  • Proven experience in identifying and delivering process enhancements and efficiencies

  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customers

  • Able to cover U.S. time zone to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and teams based in the United States.
