Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Business Development to help grow and shape our emerging ecosystems with a focus on AI infrastructure and next generation technologies like quantum computing. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, builds trust quickly, and is energized by solving complex problems with creativity and speed.
You’ll be responsible for cultivating relationships with key players in the industry, including GPUaaS providers, ModelaaS providers, data providers, and other key components of this ecosystem. You’ll work cross-functionally to unlock new opportunities and help shape the future of digital infrastructure ecosystems.
Responsibilities
Ecosystem Strategy & Industry Insight
Analyze and understand the AI landscape to identify high-value use cases for Equinix-enabled infrastructure
Develop economic value analyses that demonstrate the incremental value of Equinix vs. traditional approaches
Identify buyer profiles and key purchase criteria for AI and other emerging infrastructure companies
Collaborate with partners to co-develop integrated solutions that enhance ecosystem health
Customer & Partner Engagement
Lead strategic engagements with product, network, and data center teams
Partner with Sales and Solutions Architecture to unlock complex, high-impact deployments
Partner with sales to support deals and deal structures
Build trust-based relationships with industry leaders and innovators
Innovation & Product Alignment
Translate customer needs into product requirements in collaboration with Product and Technical Sales teams
Provide competitive intelligence and customer insights to support new service development
Go-To-Market & Enablement
Design and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to emerging ecosystems
Identify and prioritize routes-to-market that align with segment entry strategies
Build scalable programs to support field teams
Metrics & Reporting
Develop models to track ecosystem health, magnetism, and financial impact
Report progress against strategic gates and checkpoints

7+ years of experience in networking, cloud, or related fields
Proven track record of business development, ecosystem cultivation or similar
Experience working with digital infrastructure providers
Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 186,000 - 280,000 USD / Annual
United States - Denver Office DEO : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual
United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual
United States - New York City Office NYO1 : 171,000 - 257,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 154,000 - 232,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
