Responsibilities
Team Coordination
Actively support the team by coordinating customer deliveries and resolving any shipping or receiving issues
Keep meticulous records/logs of all materials to ensure smooth operations
Put "we" before "me" by being as committed to each other's success as to your own.
Task Execution
Utilize your acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks efficiently
Recognize when to deviate from standard practices to achieve the best results.
Procedure Adherence
Normally follow established procedures for routine work
Be prepared to take initiative and seek instructions for new assignments
Keep your promises and be accountable
Documentation & System Updates
Coordinate the speedy and efficient delivery of goods to their required destinations, ensuring you obtain sign-off for receipt
Be an energy supplier by leaving people better than you found them
Actively inform recipients that their ordered goods have been delivered
Serve others by ensuring timely and accurate communication
Shipping & Receiving
Maintain accurate records of materials received and shipped, ensuring all details are logged within a semi-routine scope
Embrace simplicity and speed
Receive goods delivered to the Data Centre, either directly or following acceptance by security
Enter all relevant details of inbound/outbound shipments and ensure order requirements are fulfilled
Be trustworthy and commit fully
Use shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard to track customers' inbound/outbound shipments
Communicate with radical transparency
Inspect received goods and reject unsatisfactory items where necessary
Set high standards of excellence and value disciplined execution
Problem Solving
Actively work and communicate with internal/external customers to ensure on-time deliveries
Assist with resolving difficult shipping and receiving issues as they arise
Challenge the status quo and embrace change
Hazardous Materials
Follow established procedures for handling hazardous materials, requiring supervision only on new assignments
Honor confidentiality
Comply with hazardous materials protocols as described by regional regulatory bodies
Equipment Management
Track stored and/or abandoned equipment diligently
Use aging shipment business processes/tools for shipments over 5 days, 14 days, 30 days, and 90 days
Data Centre Support
Assist with the delivery and removal of customers' equipment from cages through established procedures
When requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request, assist with packing customers' equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the data center

Qualifications
Educational Background: Typically requires a high school diploma or years of work experience. - but we are open to new to career
Certification: Regional hazardous materials certification preferred
