Job Summary 

Treat your CRE colleagues as your customers and encourage a high trust team environment. 

Responsibilities 

May have oversight of catering for weekly breakfast and events including budget, menu planning and food service quality control 

Office communications & Community 

  • Develop and deliver internal communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and connected. Support cross‑department collaboration and promote office culture through clear, engaging messaging and events. 

  • Coordinate office-wide events and meetings, creating engaging and informative communications using Outlook, Viva Engage, and Office Raven  

 

Event & Vendor Management 

  • Ownership of onsite event planning and execution, ensuring seamless experiences for all attendees 

  • Create marketing materials and promotional efforts, leveraging social platforms to generate excitement 

  • Manage event budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost‑effectiveness, contract compliance, and high service standards. 

Front Desk & Customer Experience 

  • Provide a welcoming, professional front‑of‑house experience by covering the Welcome Desk during business hours. Manage visitor check‑ins, badging, and security processes in line with company policy. Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure deliveries are handled appropriately. Build a positive, engaging office atmosphere through thoughtful interactions and “surprise and delight” moments. 

Safety & Escalation 

  • Prioritize customer and employee safety by understanding and executing emergency response procedures. Act as an emergency point of contact when required and follow established escalation paths for safety, operational, or customer issues. 

Operations & Efficiency 

  • Support meeting room scheduling, events setup, mail and shipping, ticketing systems, and security badge distribution. Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external stakeholders. Assist employees—especially new hires—with building information, policies, and CRE services, ensuring smooth handoffs to relevant teams. 

Community & Collaboration 

  • Act as a trusted, go‑to presence in the office, fostering a welcoming and collaborative community. Communicate effectively across the CRE organization, sharing insights and information to support collective success and deliver an exceptional workplace experience aligned with Equinix values. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Proven years of customer facing experience and hospitality background

  • Bachelor's degree in business management preferred 

  • Excellent verbal and written Dutch and English 

  • Outstanding interpersonal and multi-tasking skills are required 

  • Skilled at developing personal relationships with customers, peers and business partners on all levels
