An exciting opportunity to join Equinix as one of our Customer Project Managers (CPM)! In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex managed service solutions to our clients.
We're looking for someone who has a blend of project management expertise, technical understanding and exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing customer-facing projects in a cloud/hosting environment, with a strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage multiple complex projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely delivery within scope and time.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful outcomes.
Client Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular status meetings with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
Technical Understanding:
- Utilize a basic understanding of cloud technologies, virtualization, and networking to effectively communicate with technical teams and clients.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure that solutions are implemented according to client specifications and and agreed design.
Collaboration
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members.
- Manage resource allocation and workload distribution to optimize team performance.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
- Proactively address issues and challenges that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present project status reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and project metrics, to stakeholders and senior management.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting notes, and change requests.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Prince2 Foundation certification preferred
Working knowledge of internet, hosting and cloud technologies, virtualization and networking
Experience with ServiceNow and Siebel is desirable
Fluent English written and verbal required
