Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and operational leader to oversee the performance, safety, and customer experience of our data center operations across Germany. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring our facilities meet the highest standards of reliability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple data center sites, ensuring maximum uptime and customer satisfaction

• Drive strategic planning and execution across capacity, performance, and availability

• Oversee incident response, change management, and business continuity planning

• Ensure compliance with ISO, PCI-DSS, SOC, and other regulatory standards

• Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency in design, construction, and operations

Financial & Capacity Management

• Define and manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets

• Track and optimize resource utilization, productivity, and cost efficiency

• Ensure accurate power and cooling capacity management across all sites

Customer & Project Delivery

• Lead customer implementation and project management, pre- and post-sales

• Champion a customer-first culture, driving continuous improvement in service delivery

People & Culture

• Lead and develop a team of managers and frontline staff across multiple locations

• Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and high performance

• Act as a regional voice in global forums, contributing to innovation and best practices

Qualifications

Experience

• Proven leadership in data center or critical infrastructure operations (Leadership of managers)

• Strong track record in managing complex, multi-site environments

• Experience in transformation and scaling operations in a matrixed organization

Skills & Attributes

• Strategic thinker with strong execution focus

• Financially astute with a deep understanding of operational metrics

• Resilient, adaptable, and solutions-oriented

• Committed to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement

• Fluent in English; German language skills or willingness to learn are essential
