Job Summary

The Accounting Advisor uses professional concepts to resolve routine accounting entry issues within a limited scope. Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on less risky countries, under direction of more senior staff.  

Responsibilities

Non-Standard Deal Review

Month End Close

• Prepares basic preparation of post journal entries with guidance from senior Accounting staff

• Preforms flux analysis under direction of more senior staff

• Supports reconciliation preparation with guidance from senior Accounting  staff

• Assists with SOX controls

• Prepares PBC preparation within a limited scope

Disclosures and External Reporting

• Supports in preparing any additional regional disclosures needed for SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission) reporting

Management Reporting

• Prepares basic month end management reporting within a limited scope 

Business Partnering

• Partners with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and Global Process Manager to solve basic accounting matters

Process Improvement

• As needed, may participate in routine project work 

Technical Accounting

• Understands general accounting principals when accounting for transactions

Qualifications 

• Proven years experience preferred
