Are you ready to join a dynamic team as an Installation Technician? Look no further! We are seeking individuals who are passionate about installation and providing exceptional service to our customers both internal and external.

As an Installation Technician, you will need plenty of cabling experience and have the ability to utilise strong IT skills while seamlessly transitioning between hands-on work and  some administrative tasks. Experience in delivering excellent customer service is a huge bonus, as our customers, both internal and external, are of utmost importance to us. We want them to be important to you too!

This role is Monday to Friday 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

•  Installing and testing network cabling, both UTP and fiber optic
• Placing racks 
• "Racking & Stacking" (Installing customers equipment in racks)
• Executing installations of rack PDUs (Power Distribution Units) 
• Performing and supervising technical work within the data center 
• Quality control of completed work, delivered by internal and external teams 
• Working according to procedures and monitoring compliance 
• Support reinstall customer projects as needed. 
• Creating, maintaining, and providing weekly and monthly status reports 

Who you are?

• You will have experience in Data Centres or an adjacent industry/ environment
• Has experience with hardware installation and good technical knowledge
• You will have fibre experience
• You are looking to upskill and develop and work closely as part of a team
• You are self-motivated and able to use judgment to make decisions under the guidance of others
• You speak/ write fluently in English (Dutch is beneficial but not required)
