Job Summary
Define and execute the brand strategy for core Equinix and the brand integration of all acquisitions including providing governance and implementation of Data Center and facilities branding globally. Work with outside agencies and internal teams to build and execute a brand media strategy. Drive branding and messaging consistency and alignment for all corporate functions to elevate and reinforce the Equinix brand globally. Responsible for creating corporate collateral that creates a positive brand perception and reputation. Design and implement measurements to analyze messaging program effectiveness and quantify revenue generated from executed programs. Responsible for maximizing impact of brand awareness and brand advertising spend across multiple channels. Works to personify the brand internally and externally by cultivating and growing a community of customers and employees that amplify the brand and grow brand equity.
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy/Management
Manages the design and branding of various key projects including Annual Reports and events · Analyzes spot check and brand benchmark surveys, tracks success in positioning the Equinix brand into a new category, crystallizes market insights which can be leveraged in messaging and tactics
Collaborates with the digital media, programs and appropriate field marketing teams to analyze and optimize our media mix to most accurately target the correct persona(s) at the right targets, using the highest performing and most cost effective media
Establishes thought leadership and brand/message consistency for key executive initiatives and at highly-visible company initiatives/ events/ assets"
Collaborates with sales and field marketing to create reference architecture that includes an operating model, metrics & resource alignment
Aligns resources and technologies to monitor data integrity
Collateral Creation and Implementation
Drives branding and messaging consistency and alignment for all corporate functions to elevate and reinforce the Equinix brand globally
Responsible for creating corporate collateral that creates a positive brand perception and reputation
Communication Platform Management
Helps define requirements for definition and selection of new content-related technologies
Responsible for publishing communication on various platforms according to the broader master communications plan
Stakeholder Management and Communication
Builds relationships and works effectively at all levels within the organization and across functions
Facilitates periodic cross-functional meetings to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and progress around content best practices and challenges
Identifies and provides input to key stakeholders throughout the company, and across regions and countries
Ensures alignment in cross-functional priorities
Manages agency relationships and expectations, identifies agency requirements and leads agency selection process
Project Management
Leads cross-functional teams in implementation of large projects
Communicates major project/program scope, schedule, resource, risks/issues and budget changes
Collaborates with the global programs, digital, content and creative services teams to facilitate better alignment to capture and feed brand advertising viewers into our buyer’s journey
Reporting and Metrics
Produces monthly brand advertising reports and leads monthly coordination meetings
Identifies metrics to measure for his or her area of responsibility, and how and when to report on them
Oversees content measurement and KPIs, including the design and operation of relevant, synthesized dashboards, reports and analyses
Budget Management
Responsible for managing the budgeting, accounting and reporting of expenses for the sub-function
Functional Knowledge
Requires broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge theories, techniques and/or technologies within a strategic job family

Qualifications
15+ years experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
