As a Workplace Experience Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience that reflects Equinix's values. Create a positive and welcoming environment at the front desk, greet visitors and employees, and anticipate their needs. As a vital member of the CRE organization you will also coordinate office-wide events, manage vendor relationships, and ensure effective communication within the organization. Additionally will prioritize safety, courtesy, community-building, and efficiency in their responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Provide a welcoming experience for customers and guests at the Welcome Desk, ensuring prompt sign-in and badging.
Cultivate a positive vibe through engaging activities and interactions at the front desk. Maintain a clean and well-maintained reception area, addressing any issues promptly
Plan and execute on-site events including marketing efforts, budgeting quality control and logistics management there by fostering a welcoming and collaborative community environment through events and activities.
Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing surprise and delight opportunities.
Assist with meeting room scheduling, equipment setup, and catering for All Hands events.
Oversee vendor selection and performance evaluation, ensuring compliance with contracts and service standards.
Ensure the safety of customers by implementing emergency response plans and serving as an emergency point of contact. Maintain awareness of office security issues and report concerns to the appropriate parties.
Support mail and shipping requirements, provide direction to vendors and service providers.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and execute internal communication strategies to foster employee engagement.
Illustrate Equinix's core values and the purpose of CRE in all responsibilities.
Provide personalized support to customers and anticipate their needs.
Assist with the office ticketing system, distribute security badges, and answer customer questions.
Qualifications:
College/University graduate with 4+ years related work experience.
Customer-facing experience and hospitality background is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Skilled at developing personal relationships with customers and business partners.
