Job Summary

We are looking for a technical savvy engineer with broad expertise and a strong background in product innovation and software architecture.  In the engineering team you will be responsible for developing solutions in the area off Identity and Access Management at Enterprise scale. You will be expected to work leveraging your good understanding of use cases and best solution patterns, leveraging possibilities offered by modern technology stack and cloud-based deployments. The engineering team you’ll join is responsible for building a highly scalable, globally distributed software product focusing on the product quality and delightful user experience.  

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and evolve end-to-end solutions serving customer use-cases in cross-product platform responsible for Identity and Access Management

• Be hands-on to craft, develop and test pilots and prototypes for new concepts being tested out

• Be an inspiring specialist by participating in defining standards, practices and solution patterns.

• Provide thought leadership, strategy and lead innovation by exploring, investigating, recommending, benchmarking and implementing technologies to improve product quality and velocity

• Work with product management and other market facing teams to understand market needs & vision to come-up with system designs and technology recommendations

• Lead Features and multiple modules design and participates in overall product design

• Develop scripts and code for a feature and multiple modules and product

• Participate in peer reviews

• Adoption of standard coding processes

• Provides level of effort (LOE) and Estimates

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in computer science or equivalent with hands-on professional software development experience in  architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining customer facing software services at scale in an innovative engineering environment

• Good understanding of Authentication and Authorization Domain (OAuth2.0, SAML, OIDC, RBAC)

• Strong work experience of 8+ years in architecting and building large scale systems using scale-out architecture that require high availability, performance, high scalability and multi-tenancy

• Expertise in cloud native application development with in-depth knowledge of Java eco-system (experience with multiple frameworks such as Spring, Play, Hibernate),

• Must have real-world work experience with one of the public clouds such as AWS or GCP.

• Good understanding of multiple approaches including cloud native, API-first, and micro-services architectures.
