What are you working on?

I am an intern in the Enterprise Apps (IT) department, working on rebranding and enhancements for the customer service management platform, including the web portal and mobile application.

What's a day in the life like?

I worked with a fellow intern on the projects and tasks assigned to us by our mentor. We met with our mentor every week to go over any updates or new concepts related to our project. Our mentor was really helpful and provided valuable feedback which enabled us to complete our project successfully.

What was your most memorable/rewarding experience at Equinix?

Working at Equinix was a brand-new experience, as was being able to learn new technologies. Interns could work on a hands-on project, allowing us to gain a deeper understanding of the technologies involved and contribute our own knowledge to the team.

What advice would you give to your juniors keen to join Equinix for an internship or a full-time role?

Do not be afraid to ask questions and learn as much as you can from the mentors and supervisors—they are extremely friendly and willing to help!

What skills did you gain from your internship?

I worked with ServiceNow for my project, which was an entirely new experience for me and my first time working with a customer service management application. My team also had a chance to integrate external applications via APIs and then add new features.

Are you looking for an impactful and fulfilling internship while collaborating with an inclusive and diverse team? Check out open roles.
