Job Summary
This role establishes and maintains the end-to-end discipline and decision-making needed across the enterprise to achieve peak customer satisfaction in every interaction. Lead the effort to transform core operating practices, streamline processes, improve speed to delivery, and enhance cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-value outcomes and drive business growth. Ensure that strategic priorities of value streams are aligned with business goals, resources are optimized for maximum efficiency, and performance is continuously monitored and improved.
Responsibilities
Strategic Execution
Strategic Portfolio Alignment: Work closely with executive leadership to prioritize and select value streams and processes that contribute to the organization's strategic outcomes.
Transformation Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive Lean and Agile strategies. Identify opportunity areas, then ensure successful implementation of relevant transformation initiatives
Value Delivery: Establish high-performing PMO to drive the implementation of Equinix’s most strategic work. Oversee sequencing and execution of strategic projects for maximum org. efficiency and business impact
Optimizing day-to-day operations
Operational Excellence: Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing Lean and Agile practices across core value streams. Streamline workflows and improve interaction models to enhance productivity across functions / teams
Process Optimization: Lead enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness. Develop and implement standardized methodologies for process assessment, redesign, automation
Change Management
Coaching Leadership: Provide senior leaders with coaching, insights, and challenge tactics needed to meet targets
Change Programs: Partner with People team to develop and implement change programs to ensure adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational structures, while embedding continuous improvement mindset
Performance Monitoring and Decision-Making
Value Management and Reporting: Set up systems to track and measure value across key priorities and work streams. Create and maintain KPIs, and report progress to stakeholders
Portfolio Optimization and Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources (financial, human, and technological) across all projects. Assess resource needs, identify gaps, and make decisions to boost efficiency and ensure successful project completion
Governance: Lead centralized governance efforts for top priority areas to ensure cross-functional success. Establishing and running governance meeting cadence, relevant reporting and templates
Operating Rhythm
Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with senior executives to align process and value management initiatives with business goals. Facilitate the Product Operating Model Transformation
Value Governance: Assess resource impacts, facilitate trade-off decisions, monitor and track value creation
Performance: Provide visibility into project performance, working with leaders to resolve barriers, optimize resources, and ensure outcomes align with enterprise objectives
Qualifications
Extensive experience in relevant fields such as business operations, process improvement, project management, and strategic planning
Proven track record of leading Lean and Agile-based transformation initiatives
Experience in strategic portfolio management, process optimization, and operational excellence
Fluent in P&L, balance sheet structure and terminology, and able to critique business / operational plans / capital plans and working capital management
Strong background in resource allocation, performance monitoring, and value management
Leadership: Strong leadership skills and can drive change and foster a culture of innovation and accountability. Excellent communication and coaching skills
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Process and execution-oriented, continuous improvement mindset
Collaborative: Effectively exerts influence, communicates, and manages relationships at all levels of the organization. Brings out the best in others – including the top team

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $250,000 to $374,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
