We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer – Marketing to take full ownership of our enterprise marketing automation ecosystem. In this hands-on role, you'll lead the migration from Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE) to Marketing Cloud Advanced (MCA) as part of our LTC Transformation Programme — a ground-up, end-to-end initiative spanning campaign to cash, built on the new Salesforce + Revenue Cloud platform, and powered by Data Cloud and AI. Your work will be central to delivering a scalable, data-driven, and compliant MarTech foundation for long-term growth. Responsibilities
Lead the MCAE → MCA migration, rebuilding and optimizing campaigns, journeys, and automations
Define and execute a coexistence strategy aligned with the LTC program, supporting current-state MarTech operations while enabling transition to the new Salesforce instance
Design data models in Contact Builder with strong focus on integrity, segmentation scalability, and performance
Develop advanced SQL queries for audience creation, data transformation, and automation optimization
Build landing pages, forms, and form handlers with accurate data capture, validation, and CRM sync
Enable AI‑driven personalization and automation using Salesforce AI, including Agentforce
Implement and manage enterprise consent and subscription governance
Establish automation standards, monitoring, governance, and documentation for long‑term platform health
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, engineers, and QA
Qualifications
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or higher (Computer Science preferred)
8+ years of experience developing and supporting mid‑ to large‑scale IT projects; strong understanding of Sales/Service Cloud processes
5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement/Pardot experience
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
(Preferred) Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement Consultant certification
Knowledge of Salesforce Agentforce and Data Cloud
Strong expertise in SQL, AMPscript, HTML/CSS, and marketing data modeling
Experience building landing pages, forms, and form handlers
Deep understanding of consent governance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
Experience working in multi‑instance or transformation programs
Experience with DevOps tools such as Jira, Copado, or Flosum
Solid understanding of REST/SOAP and event‑driven architectures
Experience creating technical design documents and architecture diagrams
Nice to Have
Familiarity with SAFe and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Prior Marketo Experience
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
Ability to quickly learn systems/processes, grasp complex technical concepts, and adapt to change
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Experience with Partner Relationship Management (PRM), Data Cloud, Agentforce, and Revenue Cloud
Salesforce development and configuration knowledge: Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC, SOQL, integrations
Proficiency with JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, and VS Code
This posting is a new position within our organization.
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 88,000 - 132,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
